Are you a technical analyst with strong SQL skills? Intrinsic are seeking a Data Migration Specialist to undertake end-to-end migration of data from third party sources to our own systems.

Ideally you you'll be working in data migration, but if you've got high quality SQL skills we can support you in moving into this area.

About the role

Joining us as a Data Migration Specialist will provide challenge and opportunities to make our customers jobs easier. This role is all about working with new customers (in our case, new Advisers) to understand their data retention requirements and align them to our data management capacity.

You'll be a technical analyst, able to analyse and interrogate customer data systems and offer support throughout the data and document extraction process in preparation for migration. Being focused data integrity you'll be tasked with transforming data into suitable formats for import.

Putting the customer at the centre of our approach, you'll ensure our Advisers receive the appropriate data migration solution, and provide a positive onboarding experience when joining the Intrinsic network.

About you

You'll need strong SQL skills, with SSRS and SSIS being advantageous. You'll also need good communication skills, both written and verbal. Our customers aren't always technically minded, you'll need to use these skills to work with the Adviser throughout the migration process.

Your technical skills are likely to include a good understanding of relational databases, familiarity of database technologies and some sort of project experience. As important as these, you'll be a self motivated, flexible team player.
