The average age of a financial adviser working in the UK today is 58, meaning many firms are keen to recruit new advisers, to look after existing customers as well as grow new ones. By training as an adviser, you could enjoy a lucrative career and take satisfaction in helping your clients to achieve their goals.

Our 3 Month Fast Track Programme


Following the success of our first Fast Track cohort Quilter Financial Adviser School are opening applications to recruit the next intake of those looking for a unique opportunity to accelerate their studies to become a qualified financial adviser. On successful completion of the programme you will have gained an industry-recognised qualification, along with the behaviours and skills needed to excel in your new career.
DipFA is a prestigious, benchmark qualification that meets the standards required for those giving professional advice on retail investment products. It is recognised by the industry’s regulator and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You’ll also learn business skills, enhanced soft skills and ethics to ensure you’re always working optimally and in your clients’ best interests.

The Fast Track Programme is a full-time study programme. Once your place on the programme is secure you will be given prior learning ahead of the induction date. Throughout the programme you will benefit from a minimum of 70 hours face to face training over 9 days requiring only 4 nights away from home. You will also benefit from 31, 2.5 hour interactive, online classroom sessions, led by a dedicated trainer. All classroom sessions are recorded, so they can be accessed in your own self-study time. In addition, you will benefit from question tools and soft skills training, which will ensure you are well prepared for your exams and ideally positioned to become a successful financial adviser

How do you apply?

Upon submitting your details and completing your application you will be required to complete our online testing and interview process. Successful candidates are then invited to our assessment centre where we’ll discuss expectations so that you understand what is needed to make a successful career as a financial adviser. The session includes exercises to test your communication and listening skills, interpersonal skills and other key attributes that are crucial to being successful. We’ll complete a full evaluation of how you performed on the day and this will help us to decide whether to offer you a place on our programme.

Securing a job

Once you have won a place on our Fast Track programme Quilter Financial Adviser School will actively look to secure you a position (whether self-employed or salaried) within one of the 1,300+ firms within the Quilter Financial Planning network. These represent some of the fastest growing most progressive advisory firms within the UK. For those selected for our Fast Track programme all tuition fees, overnight accommodation and travel expenses will be paid for. * Subject to contract
